Ross Harvey CMgr FCMI F.ISRM M.ISMI CSMP® MIET MSyl CTSP M.IPSA founded Rockfort Security Consultants in 2022 with the view to offering a comprehensive range of security consultancy services and training to a global audience. With over 24 years of experience, Ross is a distinguished and accomplished security consultant, expert witness, lecturer & mentor who has worked extensively with both government agencies and private corporate clients. Throughout his career, he has developed exceptional expertise in risk identification and mitigation techniques.
Ross’s notable achievements in the field of security consultancy have earned him multiple awards and recognition. He possesses a comprehensive understanding of crime motivations, enabling him to effectively analyse and address security threats. His proficiency extends to crime prevention methodologies, including the implementation of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) principles amongst others.
One of Ross’s key strengths lies in his ability to create robust policies and procedures that enhance an organisations security posture. His meticulous approach ensures that organisations have comprehensive frameworks in place to prevent and respond to potential security incidents.
In addition to his vast experience, Ross holds several professional certifications, including CMgr (Chartered Manager), FCMI (Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute), F.ISRM (Fellow of the Institute of Strategic Risk Management), M.ISMI (Member of the International Security Management Institute), CSMP® (Certified Security Management Professional), MIET (Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology), MSyl (Member of the Security Institute), CTSP (Certified Technical Security Professional), and M.IPSA (Member of the International Professional Security Association).
